Background
Brandon’s journey in storytelling began at an early age amidst the picturesque landscapes of Park City, Utah and the Sundance Film Festival. During his adolescent years, he honed his craft in lighting and acting within the community theatre scene, laying the foundation for his artistic expression. His academic pursuits led him to Los Angeles, where he immersed himself in the study of media management and cinematography. This education further refined his skills and shaped his path in the business side of the cinematic arts.
Early Career
Brandon began his career at a mid-sized studio, quickly rising from Assistant Accountant to Production Supervisor, before transitioning to freelance work to pursue his passion for storytelling. He produced sports content and celebrity-branded documentaries for ESPN and TV One, and led a video marketing team for Ed Hardy Fashions, showcasing his versatile skill set. His dedication to independent storytelling and community contribution culminated in founding a non-profit, family-oriented theatre company in Las Vegas, reflecting his commitment to the arts and cultural enrichment.
Recently
He has honed the skills of Miss Nevada, secured a Telly Award for a television program on Lou Gehrig’s Disease, and captured the essence of a rock band’s world tour through documentary filmmaking. His directorial prowess is highlighted by fifteen successful years of producing/directing “A Christmas Carol” dinner theatre at Lawry’s The Prime Rib, where he also manages over 40 artists every Christmas season. In addition to contributing to over 20 feature films, he recently shot a documentary on the homeless rehabilitation process.
