Chandiss – Wicked Game

I was Director of Photography for this music video by Las Vegas artist Chandiss, we shot in a studio that featured multiple sets, showcasing my ability to craft unique lighting across similar environments. A key highlight was a practical effect sequence where a stool was thrown through a window of glass directly at camera. This project underscored my expertise in managing complex shoots and employing innovative techniques to enhance the story, contributing to a visually engaging video that complements the artist’s vision.

Steelheart – You Got Me Twisted

Director of Photography for this Steelheart project. The lighting design on the sound stage presented a particularly intricate challenge, requiring meticulous planning and execution to achieve the desired atmospheric effect. This project was filmed using my RED Camera Package, complemented by CineAlta Prime lenses. This video highlighted my adeptness at managing diverse shooting environments and unknown technical demands, culminating in a visually stunning piece that enhances the artists vision.

Sabriel – Lovely Way

The Director of Photography on this video featuring Las Vegas artist, Sabriel. Shot entirely in a studio adorned with vibrant backdrops and props. The project utilized slow-motion and I was particularly impressed by how the director applied this in post-production, which included flipping and reversing of images. This experience showcased my ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams to achieve a distinct and memorable visual style, enhancing the overall artistic impact of the project.

Alicia Jackson – Purple Rain

Director of Photography for this music video featuring Las Vegas artist Alicia Jackson. I brought along my RED Camera package and CineAlta Primes, making her skin look beautiful! Filmed entirely at a single house with a pool in one day. A notable challenge encountered during production was achieving a convincing rain effect, which required multiple attempts to visually look good on camera. This project highlighted my adaptability and commitment to creative problem-solving, ensuring we all synergized to elevate the artist’s and directors vision.

Michael Grimm – Generation Next

Did a series of videos for Michael Grimm, taking on a multifaceted role as Producer, Director, DP, and Editor. This video featured a blend of local Las Vegas artists lip-syncing the lyrics, interwoven with footage of Michael performing. This approach provided a unique platform to highlight both the theme and the diverse talent within the Las Vegas community. This endeavor underlines my capability to manage and execute complex projects that bring together various music video elements.

Patrycja Markowska – Wielokropek

Director of Photography for this Polish band‘s music video, the majority of scenes were filmed in Las Vegas. The artist‘s vision called for an inventive camera technique: mounting the camera on a record player to achieve a slow-motion, spinning effect that transitions through various stories. This unique approach required precise execution and creative problem-solving to seamlessly integrate the dynamic movement. My role helped facilitate the artistic concept, ensuring that my direction captured the artist’s intended mood and aesthetic even though we were on different continents.
